Bean Watches: Star Trek: The Original Series (1966)
Howdy all, and welcome back to another blog post!
I am currently in the process of writing up my travel blog for Denmark (back in April 2024) as well as Tokyo (August 2024), however, it's taking longer than planned! In the meantime, I have been watching all the Star Trek TV Series from release order, and thought I'd review them and let you know what I think. Without further ado, here is the review for Star Trek: The Original Series:
Star Trek: The Original Series (1966)
The 1966 Star Trek series is an excellent introduction to the universe. It’s amazing how different the show has come when you compare it to some of the newer Star Trek incarnations. The characters can sometimes be frustrating to deal with, but nevertheless the stories are different each episode and are even referred to in later series. The special effects are great for the timeframe it was filmed in, however, some of them haven’t aged too well, let’s put it that way. I’d recommend giving the original series a watch, especially if you like me are a fan of the Sci-Fi genre. It’s also amazing to watch a series that is from the 60s, is Sci-Fi and isn’t recorded in Black & White (am looking at you original Doctor Who).
Total rating: 4 beans out of 5
